It is not customary, and might even appear bold for a lawyer to describe himself first and foremost as a “jurist” – a lofty term that would seem to evoke the founding fathers of law, but which, in truth, refers to anyone who makes law the object of study and in-depth analysis.
In my case, the order of factors is precisely as follows: just as the letter A comes before the letter B, so too, in my view, being a jurist is a precondition for practising any legal profession with passion, quality, and awareness.
In this, my humanistic education greatly supported me in the study of law, from the exegetical interpretation of legal provisions to their practical application in the various dynamic contexts of everyday life.
In every respect, it is a true passion, born of a cultural need and becoming, in turn, a tool of my daily professional practice.
For this reason, for almost 15 years my passion for legal subjects was nurtured and strengthened through my work as an assistant professor, first at the University of Milan-Bicocca (Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca), and later at the University of Milan (Università degli Studi di Milano).
My teaching activity then continued, and still continues today, as a speaker at numerous conferences and training events, as well as as a guest at various round tables organised by accredited institutions.
I therefore decided to create Twenty Seven Law as an ecosystem in which ideas, reflections, studies and — why not — provocations can grow and develop, with a focus on the areas of law in which I work. It also serves to express the values I uphold, contextualising and relating them, from time to time, to our present reality.
